{"id":2277,"date":"2024-11-13T01:02:12","date_gmt":"2024-11-12T17:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tradenet.hk\/b2b\/john-lee-thanks-xia-baolong\/"},"modified":"2024-11-13T01:02:12","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T17:02:12","slug":"john-lee-thanks-xia-baolong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tradenet.hk\/b2b\/john-lee-thanks-xia-baolong\/","title":{"rendered":"John Lee thanks Xia Baolong"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.news.gov.hk\/eng\/2024\/11\/20241112\/20241112_102210_151\/images\/20241112134300573.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>(To watch the full media session with sign language interpretation, click <a>here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Chief Executive John Lee today thanked CPC Central Committee Hong Kong &amp; Macao Work Office Director and State Council Hong Kong &amp; Macao Affairs Office Director Xia Baolong for highlighting what he thinks are the important directions and opportunities that lie for ahead Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His remarks came after he attended a sharing session last Friday in Shenzen where Mr Xia was present, along with Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government officials and representatives from the business and commerce sectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At a media session ahead of this morning\u2019s Executive Council meeting, Mr Lee explained that Mr Xia has a great heart and love for Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Director Xia\u2019s points are &#8211; that this is our common home, and all of us should make Hong Kong our common home, a good place to live for everybody to realise their dreams and for things to really thrive.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis urges are really to tell enterprises, investors and business people to think of the overall good of Hong Kong, the importance of everybody within the family to play his part and to contribute.
